The Student Center is the focal point of student life on campus. This building is open 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. and offers space for students to dine between classes, meet with their peers, relax, recharge, and engage in student activities. The hours of departments located within the Student Center vary, and can be found below. In addition to the campus’s ATM, covered deck and patio with ample seating, the following departments/offices are located here.

Student Center Services

Campus Store (Bookstore)

The Campus Store is located in room 148, across from the Hilltop Grill. The Campus Store is a one-stop shop for students to purchase books, supplies, apparel, backpacks, devices, and more. Campus gear is available for men, women, and children from top brands like Under Armor, Jan Sport, and Champion USA.

Career Development, Internship and Job Services Office

The Career Development, Internship and Job Services Office is located in room 138. Office hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Students are encouraged to schedule individual appointments with the Coordinator via e-mail to internshipandjobservices@hagerstowncc.edu.

Career Program Achievers

Career Program Achievers is located in rooms 111 and 113, to the right of the lobby in the Academic Advising and Registration suite. The office is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with evening hours as needed by appointment.

Disability Support Services

Disability Support Services is located in rooms 114 and 115, to the right of the lobby. The office is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with evening hours as needed by appointment.

Esports Center

The Esports Center is located in room 170, in the corridor behind the Student Activities Office. Student Care Cupboard

HCC’s Student Care Cupboard is open to all currently enrolled students. The cupboard is located in room 163. Donations are welcomed for items such as baby products, hygiene products, cleaning products, canned & boxed goods, snacks, and drinks.

Care Cupboard Storeroom Hours:
Monday, 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Tuesday – Thursday, 10:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Friday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

In addition to grocery items, the cupboard carries grab and go snacks, drinks, and a hot beverage station.

Food Services

The Student Center’s in-house eatery, Hilltop Grill, is open Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (summer hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.). The grill offers made-to-order sandwiches and wraps, a full-service Hot bar, pizza, and specialty entrees. The Hawk Café features a full coffee and latte bar, and also serves assorted desserts and finger foods. It is open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to noon, and is closed on Friday. Game Room & Student Lounge

The Student Game Room, located in room 160, features large screen TVs with gaming ports, gaming computers, and cushioned seating. Board games are also available to play. The Student Lounge is located beside the main dining area and has a ping pong table, cushioned seating, and relaxing views.

Information Desk

Information Center is generally open Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., pending staff availability. When not open, students and guests are directed to the adjacent Student Support Center in Suite 110.

Registration & Student Support

Registration & Student Support, formerly known as Retention and Registration, is located in rooms 116 - 120, to the right of the Student Center lobby. The office is open Monday: 8:30am – 7pm, Tuesday - Thursday: 8:30am – 4:30pm, Fridays: 10am – 4:30pm. To make an appointment please go here toschedule your appointment.

Student Activities Office (IDs & Parking Passes)

The Student Activities Office oversees all student activities and organizations including the Student Government Association. The office also issues HCC ID cards and parking permits. The office is located in room 163, and is open Mondays: 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Student Affairs Office

The Student Affairs Office houses the Dean of Students and Executive Assistant. The Dean's office is located in Room 142, to the left of the lobby. Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Appointments are strongly encouraged to ensure staff are available.

Student Center Reservations

The Student Center has conference rooms, a lobby, and dining areas that can be reserved. Employees logged into the website can reserve spaces online using the Event Scheduler.

TRIO Student Support Services

TRIO Student Support Services (TRIO SSS) is designed to help students who are low-income, are a first-generation student, or have a disability. The TRIO SSS office is located in room 131 of the Student Center, to the left of the lobby. Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Monday and 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday through Friday.
