HCC Campus Card, Student I.D., and Printing
Student I.D. cards will function as an HCC Campus Card and there will now be a charge for printing and copying services on campus. Login to your HCC Campus Card account and add money to your Campus Card, then Login to PaperCut for printing.
All new and returning full-time and part-time students must have an HCC issued photo ID. All IDs must have a current semester sticker on the back to be valid. To obtain an HCC Campus Card (Student I.D. Card), present your class schedule and another form of photo ID. Campus Cards (Student I.D. Cards) can be obtained in the Student Activities Office, Student Center room 163.
The HCC Campus Card (Student I.D.) has the capability to allow students to preload funds to use toward food services and printing and copying services on campus. Students can log in to their HCC Campus Card account at any time to add value, request funds from home, view transaction history, update contact information, and manage other preferences.
Funds added to an HCC Campus Card account can be used toward purchases at any of HCC's three eateries or can be transferred to a PaperCut account for printing and copying services on campus. Students will need to separately log in to their PaperCut account to transfer funds from their HCC Campus Card account to their PaperCut account (see Printing and Copying Services below). When $50 or more is added to an HCC Campus Card account, students will receive an additional 10 percent.
The HCC Campus Card (Student I.D.) can be used at the following locations:
- Valley Eatery
- Hilltop Grill
- Hawk Café
- All HCC Printers and Copiers (PaperCut account)
- In the future, the HCC Campus Card will be available for use in the HCC Campus Store.
How to log in to HCC Campus Card account:
- First students must obtain an HCC Campus Card (Student I.D.) from the Student Activities Office on campus
- Then students must register and create a log in for an HCC Campus Card account at www.hcc.campuscardcenter.com. Note: You must use Firefox or Google Chrome to load the Campus Card center website.
- Please be sure to read the account terms and conditions
- Parents, family, and friends can add funds to any students account without logging in by using the "Quick Add Value" option to search a student name and Student I.D. number
Printing and Copying Services
HCC uses PaperCut, a fee-based print management system, for all HCC student printing and copying services at all printers and copiers on campus. PaperCut is a separate account from the HCC Campus Card account. Credit students with at least 12 credits will automatically receive $10.50 per semester, while those with less than 12 credits will automatically receive $5.25 per semester. PaperCut funds that are not used will roll over to the next semester.

How to activate PaperCut account:
- First students must obtain an HCC Campus Card (Student I.D.) from the Student Activities Office on campus
- Then students must activate their PaperCut account using their HCC Campus Card (Student I.D.) at one of the self-serve stations located in the LSC and Brish Library
How to add funds to PaperCut account:
- To log in to a PaperCut account, visit https://hcc-papercut.hagerstowncc.edu:9192/user
- Once logged in, students can transfer up to $10 at a time from their HCC Campus Card account to their PaperCut account. (See tutorials on the right sidebar)
*HCC will not be issuing refunds for unused funds in your PaperCut account.
How to print and copy using PaperCut account:
- Log in to an HCC computer using student email username and password
- Print Document
- Pick-up document at printer using HCC Campus Card (Student I.D.) to release job*
*LSC/Library/DPDS – must swipe HCC Campus Card (Student I.D.) to release job. Student's may also print from their own computers using PaperCut (only double-sided printing is available).
