Quick Facts about Hawk Athletics
- The Athletic, Recreation, and Community Center (ARCC) opened in December 1988
- Houses the Washington County Recreation Department
- The ARCC serves more than 200,000 visitors annually
- The ARCC houses 14 collegiate athletic programs
- The ARCC has more than 80 active volunteers working at the front desk, the athletic office, the equipment room, the Courtside Café, and for special events
- HCC is a member of the Maryland Junior College Conference (JUCO) and a member of Region XX of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA)
- The HCC Hawk Booster Club uses all membership fees, donations, and fundraisers to support HCC scholar athletes.

Fitness Center
The Fitness Center is located on the second floor of the ARCC and is available to faculty, staff, and students. There is no charge to use the Fitness Center.
