Political Science
The Political Science Program is intended for students who plan to transfer to a four-year college or university to complete their bachelor's in political science. The program includes electives in administration of justice, anthropology, economics, geography, math, management, sociology, speech, and drama. Students are encouraged to identify their transfer institution early on so that they can complete many of the necessary required courses before transferring.
A bachelor’s degree in political science can lead to a multitude of exciting careers including law, journalism, research, teaching, and working for the government or in a government agency. Students interested in broader career paths such as lobbying, banking, or business can also benefit from the communication and analytical skills that they will gain through this program.
