Password Change, Reset & Enrollment
HCC Account Password Reset for Employees & Students
Your HCC account and password are used for D2L, Self Service, HCC Email, and to sign in to HCC campus computers.
Password Requirements
Your new password should be a minimum of 8 characters in length, it is required to contain mixed case letters, at least 1 number, and at least 1 special character.

First Time Users
- Open a browser and go to http://outlook.com/student.hagerstowncc.edu
- Type your username@student.hagerstowncc.edu and click Next.
- Type your temporary password, and enter your new password and confirm it. Click Sign-In.
- Your account is now ready for use.
Note: If you are having trouble getting into your account using the link above, please call or text the help desk at (240-329-4489). Please be ready with your student ID number; you will also be asked questions to confirm your identity.
Password Reset
for current or returning users
- Open a web browser and go to https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com/
- Type your HCC email address in User ID, and fill out the security captcha, and click Next
- Select the text or call phone option and fill out your phone number, click Next
- Enter your verification code, click Next
- Enter a new password, confirm, click Finish
