U.S. Navy Sea Chanters to perform Sept. 3 at HCC
(August 23, 2021)— The Hagerstown Community College Alumni Association will host the U.S. Navy Sea Chanters as part of its annual Red, White and Blue Summer Concert Series, on Friday, Sept. 3, at 6:15 p.m., in HCC’s Alumni Amphitheater.
The U.S. Navy Sea Chanters are the official chorus of the United States Navy. Under the direction of T. Adam Whitman, the group performs a variety of music, including choral arrangements and Broadway show tunes, and travels throughout the United States, often appearing at state and national events. The Sea Chanters are frequent performers at White House events and have played alongside musicians such as Marian Anderson, Perry Como, and Kenny Rogers.
Sponsored by the HCC Alumni Association, this concert is free and open to the public. Concessions will be available for purchase. Please note that no outside food is
permitted on the amphitheater grounds and concerts are subject to change by the U.S. Military. Personal lawn chairs are permitted for lawn seating.
