Scholarship applications being accepted for HCC’s Heavy Equipment Operator Program

The Workforce Solutions and Continuing Education Division at Hagerstown Community College is now accepting scholarship applications for the Heavy Equipment Operator Program. This 100-hour program begins March 21 and will meet on evenings and weekends.

Delivered through the use of simulators and hands-on equipment operation, the Heavy Equipment Operator Program is taught with a nationally recognized curriculum. Students will gain entry-level skills required to start a career in construction and other earth moving operations.

Scholarships are available and applicants must be 18 years or older to apply. This project is funded in whole or in part by funds received from EARN Maryland, a grant program of the Maryland Department of Labor.
