The Holders to perform May 12 at HCC

The Hagerstown Community College Alumni Association will host The Holders as part of its Funky Fridays Summer Concert Series, on Friday, May 12, at 6:15 p.m., in HCC’s Alumni Amphitheater.

The Holders are a classic rock band playing all genres of music. The band is made up of Morgan Jenkins, flute, sax, and vocals; Joe Marschner, guitar and vocals; Denny Jackson, keyboards; Dave Warner, bass and vocals; and Dan Wallace, drums and vocals. Playing their first gig in May of 1989 at HCC Spring Fest, the band played for 29 years as regular entertainment for the Maryland Symphony Ball, the Hospital Ball, and society gigs and weddings at Fountainhead and Waynesboro Country Clubs. They reunited to play at HCC’s 75th Anniversary Gala in 2022 and are back for select engagements.

Sponsored by the HCC Alumni Association, this concert is free and open to the public. Beer and wine will be sold on site. Food trucks and the alumni concession stand will be open. Please note that no outside food is permitted on the amphitheater grounds. Personal lawn chairs and blankets are permitted for lawn seating.
