HCC students to perform “Zombie Town”
Hagerstown Community College students will perform in "Zombie Town," a documentary play by Tim Bauer, April 19 to 21, in the HCC’s Kepler Center. The show will be held in the Black Box Theater at 7 p.m. on April 19 and 20, and 2 p.m. on April 21.
When a horde of zombies overruns the small West Texas town of Harwood, the townsfolk assume the worst has already happened. But then a San Francisco theater collective arrives, determined to tell the town’s story. The resulting play, assembled from interviews and told in the townsfolk’s exact words, is the true recounting of that terrible invasion.
The show is directed by Alyssa Little, assistant professor of dance. Due to the graphic nature of some of the scenes, this show is intended for mature audiences. Tickets are free for HCC students, faculty, and staff, as well as children five and under. General admission tickets are $5. To purchase tickets in advance, visit www.hagerstowncc.edu/productions.
