HCC students awarded Home Builders Association athletic scholarships
(March 17, 2020)— Hagerstown Community College students Olivia Hersh and Ryleigh McKinnon, both of Smithsburg, were recently awarded athletic scholarships from the Home Builders Association of Washington County, Inc. (HBAWC).
Hersh is pursuing an associate degree at HCC and is a member of the Hawks women’s softball team. McKinnon is majoring in graphic design technology at HCC and is a member of the Hawks women’s soccer team.
The HBAWC scholarship was established in April of 1998 and is an endowed scholarship donated from the proceeds of the home shows held in the Athletic, Recreation and Community Center (ARCC) on HCC’s main campus.
