HCC to offer Leadership for Women series

Cornerstone for Women Leaders is offering a new Leadership for Women series through the Workforce Solutions and Continuing Education Division at HCC. Courses in this series will be offered January 6 to June 1, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the first Saturday of each month.

Led by Cornerstone for Women Leaders, this program specializes in faith-based professional leadership development. This series will cover a range of topics, including values-based leadership, conflict resolution, and self-advocacy. Though this series is designed for women in leadership roles, all are welcome to register and attend.

“Whether you desire to enhance your current skillset or progress into a more senior-level leadership role, upskilling is essential to stay competitive in today's job market,” said Shadae Paul, CEO of Cornerstone for Women Leaders. “More than professional development, our training sets itself apart by emphasizing the cultivation of character traits such as integrity, accountability, humility, service, stewardship, and excellence. By participating in our leadership series, you’ll learn strategies for ethical leadership within a supportive and encouraging environment.”

HCC does not endorse or sponsor the programs offered by Cornerstone. Classes are offered in an effort to provide a variety of learning opportunities to the community. This series of courses is based on providing the participant with a perspective about leadership based on lessons or parables from the Bible for instructional purposes only and not to convert or advocate a religious belief.
