HCC Middle College to hold info sessions
(September 14, 2021) – Program information sessions for the STEMM (science, technology, engineering, math, medical) Technical Middle College at Hagerstown Community College will be held on Wednesdays, Sept. 22, Oct. 27, Nov. 10, and Dec. 8, at 4 p.m., in the Learning Resource Center, room 254.
HCC, working in partnership with Washington County Public Schools, developed the middle college to allow college-ready high school students the opportunity to earn at least 30 college credits and credentials such as certificates and associate degrees, while completing their high school diplomas. Juniors and seniors in the middle college attend school on the HCC campus. Students in ninth and 10th grades must take significant math and science coursework at their “home” high schools to prepare them for their junior and senior years at HCC.
All students and parents who are interested in learning more about the HCC STEMM Technical Middle College program for the 2022-23 school year are encouraged to attend one of these free information sessions. Seating is limited, so please call 240-500-2483 or email tlthorn@hagerstowncc.edu to reserve seats.
