HCC to host virtual allied health information session
(November 9, 2021) – The Workforce Solutions and Continuing Education Division at Hagerstown Community College will host a virtual information session highlighting its allied health career training programs on Tuesday, November 16, starting at 5:30 p.m., via Zoom.
This virtual event will provide attendees an overview of new and existing programs, including certified medical assistant, phlebotomy, and certified nursing and geriatric assistant. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to meet instructors, ask questions, and learn more about the entry-level skills required to start a successful healthcare career.
Classes begin January 2022, with both day and evening courses available in some programs. Scholarships are available to assist with the tuition of the program. Applicants must be 18-years or older to apply.
