HCC Athletic Boosters seeking nominations for 2024 Athletic Hall of Fame

The Athletic Boosters at Hagerstown Community College are currently seeking nominations for the 2024 Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, to be held on October 12.

The nomination form for outstanding HJC/HCC athletic alumni is now open. The nominee’s accomplishments had to be attained while affiliated with HJC/HCC and postgraduate successes in any field of athletics and/or sports. Nominees will be considered five years upon completion of their final semester/year at HCC.

Nominees must be available to attend the event on October 12, at 5 p.m., in order to be considered. Visit athletics.hagerstowncc.edu and click the “Hall of Fame Nomination Form” under the “Hawk Booster Club” tab to submit a nomination. Submissions are due on June 1, 2024.

The Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is part of the third annual HCC Homecoming Weekend to be held on Saturday, October 12, on the campus of HCC. Activities will begin with the Hawktoberfest 5K Run/Walk at 9 a.m. The race is open to everyone. Registration fees will be $20 from May 1 through September 12, and will increase to $25 on September 13 (plus an additional processing fee).
