HCC Alumni Association to host western river cruise in 2023
Hagerstown Community College’s Alumni Association will host a cruise along the Snake and Columbia Rivers in Oregon and Washington, taking participants on the steps of Lewis and Clark in the Western United States.
The nine-day cruise will be held from May 14 through May 22, 2023, aboard American Queen Voyage’s “American Empress.” Port stops include Vancouver, Stevenson, Richland, Clarkston, and Spokane, Wash.; and Astoria and Dalles, Ore.
The cruise is open to the public and everyone is invited to attend. Rates start at $5,450 per person/double occupancy. Cruise fee includes round trip airfare, pre-cruise hotel stay and accommodations on the ship; port fees; unlimited guided tours; unlimited beverages; open bars and lounges; transfers between HCC, airport, hotel, and ship; acclaimed cuisine in multiple venues; all-day in-room dining; unlimited Wi-Fi; bicycles and hiking sticks; live daily onboard entertainment and enrichment; and prepaid gratuities. All cruise proceeds will benefit the Alumni Scholarship Fund through the HCC Foundation, Inc.
