HCC accepting applications for diesel tech program

(March 2, 2020) – Applications are now being accepted for the next Diesel Technician Program at Hagerstown Community College. The 200-hour program will begin on May 12 and will run through the summer, with evening and weekend classes.

The Diesel Technician Program provides students with the entry-level skills required to start a career in automotive repair and maintenance. The program is delivered through an intensive hands-on lab approach allowing students to concentrate on practical skills education and execution, supplemented with online curriculum. Students who complete this program will be eligible to sit for the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Auto Maintenance and Light Repair (G1) exam.
