Gymkana Troupe to perform at HCC on February 16
Hagerstown Community College will host the University of Maryland Gymkana Troupe on Friday, February 16, beginning at 7 p.m., in the college’s Athletic, Recreation and Community Center (ARCC).
Gymkana Troupe was founded at the University of Maryland in 1946. Since that time, the troupe has traveled all over the United States and abroad promoting gymnastics. Well known for its high energy performances, Gymkana Troupe performs both men’s and women’s gymnastic apparatus routines, as well as novelty circus acts that incorporate the use of chairs, ladders, and trampolines.
This event is sponsored by the Student Government Association and is free and open to the public. Donations of non-perishable foods, cleaning supplies, and personal hygiene items will be collected at the door, for the HCC Student Food Pantry. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis (no tickets necessary).
