Comparative Compliance Academy Program now accepting registrations
The Washington County Police Academy is now accepting registration for the Comparative Compliance Academy program beginning March 17, 2025 and concluding April 11, 2025.
A minimum of five students will be required in order to hold the class. Program approval application pending minimum registration requirements. If interested, contact Lieutenant Murray of The Hagerstown Community College Police Department.
Class will run daily 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. at Hagerstown Community College, Hagerstown MD. The cost for the program is $600.
Attendees must be employed by a Maryland police agency, and have received a waiver from the Police Training & Standards Commission as regulated by COMAR 12.04.01.14 Subsection E “Waiver of an Entrance-Level Training Standard.” Entrance level firearms qualification should be completed by the hiring agency.
