On behalf of Hagerstown Community College Nursing Division, I welcome your interest in our nursing programs (Registered Nurse and Practical Nurse).

As our community, state, and nation struggle to cope with the significant nursing shortage, HCC is making significant contributions aimed at increasing both the number and quality of our nursing graduates.

We continue a more than 35-year tradition of educating nurses who improve patient care at the bedside and in the community in an increasingly complex health care system. Many of our nursing students pursue higher degrees in nursing and healthcare.

It is an exciting time for the HCC nursing programs as we change with the times, continuously improve our educational programs and partner with others in the community to improve nursing education and, thus, patient care outcomes. The HCC nursing programs are accredited with both the Maryland Board of Nursing and the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).

It is a wonderful time to be a nurse and to be involved in nursing education. Please join us as we look forward to having you share in our rich legacy and promising future.
