The Public Relations and Marketing Office (PRM) at HCC conducts two professional photo shoots per year. The photos are used in HCC marketing materials such as social media, the HCC website, online and print ads, etc., for the next year as part of HCC’s annual marketing campaign. During the casting call interested students can register to be considered for participation in the photo shoot.

Spring Casting Call 2019

• Tuesday, March 26, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  AND
• Wednesday, March 27, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

How are students chosen for the photoshoot?

A limited number of students from the casting call are selected to participate in the photoshoot. Students who are chosen must be in good academic, behavioral, and financial standing with the college.

When is the photo shoot?

The photo shoot will take place on a selected day in April. The schedule will be determined by the weather forecast.

Where is the photo shoot?

The photo shoot will take place on HCC’s main campus. Photos will be taken indoors and outdoors. Once the date is determined, someone from the PIGR team will contact students regarding where to meet on campus.

What kind of photos will I be in?

There are two photographers that will be selecting students to be in individual and group photos. Some photos will be posing, while others will be action shots walking, talking, studying, etc.

What should I wear to the photo shoot?

Students should dress for a casual school day. Please do not wear items with large logos or bright distracting colors or patterns. Jeans, khakis, skirts, sweaters, blouses, sneakers, and sandals, are all acceptable. Students are encouraged to bring a backpack, tote, tablet, laptop, cell phone and/or books.
