The Washington County Career Expo provides a place for college students, high school students and community jobseekers to discover job opportunities, network with employers, and explore career and educational pathways available in the greater Hagerstown area.

Last year’s Career Expo events were huge successes with over 150 employers and nearly 500 jobseekers having attended each event. We are anticipating another successful event that will showcase the vibrant opportunities available to the greater Hagerstown community.

Representatives from local employers, Hagerstown Community College, local 4-year educational institutes, local employment agencies, and military organizations will be in attendance.

Students, Alumni, and Community Job Seekers

Pre-registration is not required; however, will be appreciated so we can plan for your participation. You are strongly encouraged to dress professionally and bring printed copies of your resume to the event.

Transportation Assistance

Transportation assistance is available through the United Way Washington County Ride United Network (RUN) program at www.unitedwaywashcounty.org/ride-united-network. Please submit your ride request early and allow at least 48 hours for your request to be processed.

Vendor Registration

Thank you for your interest to participate at the Career Expo. Due to a high level of interest from local employers, vendor registration has reached capacity and is now closed.

If you missed registering and are interested in participating, please send an email to lscafide@hagerstowncc.edu requesting to be added to the waitlist. All vendors requesting to be added to the waitlist will receive an email confirmation (please allow 2 business days for the confirmation) that the request has been received. All vendors on the waitlist will be notified on Wednesday, March 26 to learn if they are accepted or not to participate. Please know any late registrations will not be included in the event program or promotional materials.

All interested employers are welcome to register as an Employer on HCC’s online board with College Central Network at www.collegecentral.com/hagerstown/. Registered employers are able to post job and internship opportunities, which are available for HCC students and alumni to view and apply to through the platform.

All vendors approved to participate must submit their organization’s Certificate of Insurance and HCC Career Expo Facility Use Agreement no later than March 14, 2025 to lscafide@hagerstowncc.edu.
