Real Estate Training Scholarship

The state of Maryland requires a 60-hour pre-license course prior to taking the Maryland state licensing exam. The Principles and Practices of Real Estate I & II are taught by Maryland licensed Real Estate Agents. These courses provide the requirements of the Maryland Real Estate Commission. 

Topics include:

  • Contractual and Legal Aspects of Maryland Real Estate Transactions
     

Course Requirements:

  • Students must be 18 years of age or older
  • Students must receive a 70 percent or better on the final exam in order to receive a certificate to take the Maryland Real Estate state examination. 
     

Applicants must complete the following: 

  • Complete the scholarship application
  • Upload ALL required documentation
  • Background Check
     

Details about the scholarship process:

  • Documentation can be securely uploaded through the application link
  • Scholarships take approximately two weeks for approval
  • Scholarships may cover all or part of the program cost

Maryland Workforce Development Sequence Scholarships

The Workforce Development Sequence Scholarship available through the Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) is designed to provide all or partial financial assistance to students interested in registering for approved non-credit certification programs that lead to employment or licensure.
