HCC to hold Community Peace Walk
Hagerstown Community College will hold it’s annual Martin Luther King, Jr., Celebration Week January 20 to 24. Activities are scheduled for each day of the week, with the Second Annual Community Peace Walk to be held on Thursday, January 23, from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Beginning at the Student Center, participants in the peace walk will embark on a reflective journey with brief stops at campus buildings, to delve deeper into Dr. King’s vision. The walk will conclude in the Student Center, followed by a dramatic rendition of Dr. King’s I Have A Dream speech, by Dr. Reverend Darin Mency.
