HCC's 75th Anniversary Campaign

As we celebrate the 75th anniversary of Hagerstown Community College, we embark on our most ambitious campaign to date. Our initial goal was to raise $7,500,000; yet, with tremendous success during the “quiet phase,” we extended our campaign target to $10,500,000. Due to the immense support that our community has shown HCC and our mission, we increased our stretch goal to raise $12,000,000. Finally, after receiving the largest grant in the history of the College (see article: “HCC Receives its Largest Grant Ever – $5.8 Million from the U.S. Department of Commerce”), the final campaign stretch goal is to raise $18,000,000 by December 31st, 2022. The goal of the 75th Anniversary Campaign is simple: to raise substantial scholarship dollars and supplemental funding to ensure that every student who wants an education has access to HCC’s excellent educational programs and resources.

Scholarships have more than a monetary value – ninety percent (90%) of HCC Foundation scholarship recipients are academically successful. This is remarkable, considering most of these students have financial need and might not otherwise be able to attend school. When our students succeed, the entire Washington County community does as well. We need your support to empower our students.
