Student Care Cupboard
HCC’s Student Care Cupboard is located in the Student Center and are available to all current students, regardless of income. The cupboard is stocked with non-perishable food for meals, breakfast items, hygiene items, cleaning supplies, baby supplies, as well as grab and go meals, snacks and drinks for between classes. The cupboard is available for students to stock up on non-perishable grocery essentials.
Students must show their current HCC ID Card to use the cupboard. Students using the cupboard for the first time should make an appointment with the Student Activities team using their respective links below. The cupboard is located in Student Center rooms 163/171.
Hours
Hours of operation for the Student Care Cupboard is Mondays: 8:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m., Tuesdays thru Fridays: 8:30 a.m.- 4:00p.m.
Donations

What Can I Donate?
The cupboard is accepting food and other items: Non-perishable foods such as canned goods, boxed goods, snacks, etc. Hygiene products like feminine products, deodorants, body wash, toothpastes and toothbrushes, Cleaning supplies and Paper products. For specific items, please review our Amazon wishlist for more information.

Helpful Resources
Care Team
The goal of the Care Team is to serve as a resource team to students that are in need of support beyond academics. The Care team is able to link students with resources in the community to provide needed assistance. Common areas of support include shelter/housing, counseling, and psychiatric assistance, among others.
When you complete the Student Assistance Form, A care team member from HCC will contact you with community resources to help you.
SGA Students Helping Students Fund
Students who are experiencing an emergency that is obstacle that keeps them from attending classes can receive up to $200 through this fund that has been created by Student Government Association. Please email: SGApresident@hagerstowncc.edu.
