Nursing Division
Nursing Division
HCC's Nursing Division prepares students to meet the needs of an increasingly globalized and diverse world in healthcare. Programs in this division integrate scientific knowledge with the fine art of caring and teach students high-level technical skills and critical thinking in order to allow them to skillfully administer the best possible nursing care to their patients upon program completion. Both the RN and LPN curriculum meet the Maryland state educational requirements and are fully accredited by the Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON) and the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). Our nursing programs’ curriculum satisfies the state educational requirements for licensure or certification in the state where the student is enrolled in nursing education at the time of enrollment or meet the state educational requirements for licensure or certification where the student intends to seek employment.
