The Health Sciences Division at Hagerstown Community College prepares students to work in a variety of healthcare settings, including physician or dental offices, hospitals, ambulance companies, and medical laboratories. Students are introduced to a variety of program offerings through state-of-the-art laboratories and skill-appropriate clinical sites and study under trained faculty members who have both the knowledge and experience to train tomorrow’s workforce today.

The HIM program will prepare healthcare professionals to manage electronic health records in variety of settings such as doctor’s offices, hospitals, insurance companies, and more.

The program provides students the opportunity to study both the bio-mechanical and physiological aspects of human movement and healthy lifestyles, as well as factors in the community.
