Hagerstown Community College’s Robinwood Players will perform their spring show, “Zombie Prom,” on Fri., April 23, Sat., April 24, and Sun., April 25.
Set in the 1950s, “Zombie Prom” is an off-Broadway comedy from the writers of “The Witches of Eastwick” and “The Fix” that was first performed in 1993. It chronicles the high school love story of Toffee and Jonny, the latter of whom becomes a teenage zombie after colliding with a nuclear plant on his motorcycle. He attempts to return to high school and resume his normal life, which results in a variety of hilarious antics.
Show times are 8 p.m. on Fri. and Sat. and 3 p.m. on Sun. General admission is $7 but HCC students, staff, and faculty can attend for free with a valid ID. Tickets are available at the door but can also be purchased in advance at the HCC Bookstore by calling 301-790-2800, ext. 271.
