Recognized by the Maryland State Board of Dental Examiners, HCC's Dental Assisting Program features dental assisting faculty who are knowledgeable and well-versed in the subject matter. Students get hands-on experience in HCC’s dental lab, which is well equipped for pre-clinical education.
On August 27 and 28, the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) will be granting HCC a site visit to begin accreditation procedures for the college's Dental Hygiene Program. Students, staff, faculty, constituent dental societies, state boards of dentistry, and other interested parties may submit comments regarding HCC's Dental Hygiene Program to the Commission. Comments should pertain to the standards, policies, and procedures of HCC's program.
Comments may be directed to the Commission on Dental Accreditation at 211 East Chicago Avenue, Chicago, IL 60611-2678, or by calling 1-800-621-8099, ext. 4653. All comments must be received by June 27, 2013.
