The Continuing Education and Business Services Division at Hagerstown Community College is offering several craft classes during fall 2013 including courses on calligraphy, Japanese braid making, paper bead jewelry, and creative greeting cards. All classes will be held in HCC’s Valley Mall Center.
Courses offered in October include “Calligraphy,” which will be held on Monday evenings, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., beginning Oct. 14 and ending Nov. 4; “Kumihimo II: Have Fun Learning to Make Beaded Kumihimo Jewelry,” which will be held on Sat., Oct. 12, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; and “Creative Cards,” which will be held on Sat., Oct. 19, from 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon.
November courses include “Paper Bead Jewelry,” which will be held on Sat., Nov. 16, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, and “Kumihimo—Japanese Braid Making,” which will be held on Sat., Nov. 9, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
