The Library Technician will oversee operation of the library's computer management system and will participate in typical staff duties at the library service desk.
This is a part-time position for 20 hours per week and is temporary available up to 8/15/14. Work schedule will consist of more afternoon hours with one evening a week until 7pm is required. This schedule can be flexible.

Education and experience - Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred; 3-4 years related experience, or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Skills and abilities - Knowledge of and experience with complex integrated databases and Sybase SQL, as well as PC-based applications. Demonstratively strong customer service skills and ability to work with a variety of people including students, faculty, staff, and the general public.
