Veterans Club holds silent auction

The HCC Veterans Club is holding a silent auction from Mon., Nov. 14 through Thurs., Nov. 17. Proceeds raised will benefit the HCC Veterans Club.

The silent auction will be held in the Valley Eatery from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 14 and Nov. 15 and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Hilltop Grill on Nov. 16 and Nov. 17.

Auction items include:

• Gym membership for six months at the HCC Fitness Center (not available for students/employees, who receive a free membership)  
• Swing dance lessons with the Tri-State Jitterbugs (lessons for two people)
• Hawk pillow   
• Ceramic stone jar with lid created by HCC instructor Stephen Wright   
• HCC sweatshirt  
• Two free haircuts at Sherry’s Beauty Salon in Boonsboro
• A free dental exam/x-ray at cleaning at Wade Family Dentistry   
• $30 Martins gift card
• Two German beer steins   
• Five oil changes at Hagerstown Honda   
• $25 Healthway Foods gift card
• Ceramic vase created by HCC instructor Joan Bontempo   
• Ceramic pencil case and gift certificate   
• 27-piece colored pencil portfolio set from Howards Arts and Frames
