- Learn the basics of financial literacy including an overview of credit, budgeting, and other important financial topics. Presented by Brandon, Financial Aid Associate
- 4pm - Career 102: Resume Writing
- Learn how to write a successful resume and how to use online resources available through College Central. Presented by Bonnie, Internship and Job Services Coordinator
- 5pm - Academic 102: Organizational Skills and College Etiquette
- Learn about basic organizational skills that will assist in managing your time and assignments. Additionally, learn about common mistakes students make in college and how to avoid them. Presented by Rachael, TRiO SSS Advisor

- Presented by Kevin C., HCC’s Recruitment Coordinator, this workshop will help you develop the skills necessary to deliver successful, “A” worthy presentations. Especially designed for students who have not yet taken Public Speaking or would like to further develop their skills, this workshop provides an opportunity to learn the absolute must-dos and must-not-dos of giving a presentation.
- 12:00pm - Transfer 202: Transfer Process 2
- This workshop is designed with the transfer student in mind. If you are planning to transfer soon and have a basic knowledge of the process but are still a bit apprehensive about the details, attend this workshop to learn about what you should know before you go. Chris B., academic advisor and transfer specialist, will present.
- 1:00pm – Financial 202: Credit
- An informational workshop on credit that includes information about credit cards, establishing credit, credit scores, and other helpful information for anyone hoping to improve their financial situation. Learn to avoid credit problems before they happen. Presented by Brandon B., Financial Aid associate.
