Free showing of Despicable Me

Free showing of Despicable Me
December 2, 2010 - 7:00pm - 9:00pm

“Despicable Me,” starring the voice talents of Steve Carell, Jason Segal, Russell Brand, and Julie Andrews, will be shown at 7 p.m. on Thurs., Dec. 2 and Fri., Dec. 3, and again at 10 a.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m. on Sat., Dec. 4. All shows will be held in the Student Center on HCC’s main campus. Children and adults are encouraged to wear their pajamas and bring pillows and blankets to watch the movie.

From Dec. 2 through Dec. 4, Hagerstown Community College’s Student Government Association will host a free showing of “Despicable Me,” the animated film starring the voice talents of Steve Carell, Jason Segal, Russell Brand, and Julie Andrews.

I Love NY Day

On Tues., Nov. 9, the Student Center will be turned into a Coney Island Carnival from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be food, games, and fun for all in honor of "I Love NY!" Day.

New Hours for Student Center

New Hours for Student Center

Beginning Nov. 1, the Student Center (STC) will be open extended hours. Monday through Thursday, the STC will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Fridays it will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Family Dinner and Show featuring Toy Story

The SGA and S.O.L.O. will host a free showing of Toy Story, on Fri., Nov. 5, beginning at 6 p.m., in the Classroom Building Auditorium. Free and open to the public. Pizza, drinks, and snacks available for $2 per person charge.

The SGA and S.O.L.O. is sponsoring a free showing of Toy Story on Fri., Nov. 5, at 6 p.m., in the Classroom Building Auditorium (CLR-111). Admission is free for everyone and this event is open to students and the public.

A Halloween Costume Contest for students will be held on Wed., Oct 27 and Thurs., Oct. 28. Dress your best and come to the Student Center for a photo. Photos will be displayed in the Student Center and students will vote for their favorite costume.

A Student Pumpkin Carving Contest will be held on Thurs., Oct. 21, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in the Student Center lobby. Sign your team up at the Student Activities Office in the Student Center. Snacks and prizes available to participants.
