'50s-style Sock Hop Dance held April 13

Students in the Veterans Club and the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society at Hagerstown Community College are sponsoring a ‘50s-style sock hop and dance on Sat., April 13, from 6 to 11 p.m., in the ARCC.
The event will feature free dance lessons from 6:30 to 7 p.m. and performances by swing bands Rick K and the Allnighters and the Holders throughout the night. Attendees are encouraged to dress in 1950s attire. Light refreshments will be served.
Cost is $25 per person. Tickets can be purchased in advance at emailing veteransclub@hagerstowncc.edu. Tickets will also be available at the door. Cash, check, or money order will be accepted. Tables may be reserved for parties of six or eight.
