HCC to hold annual Martin Luther King Jr. celebration

Hagerstown Community College will hold its annual Martin Luther King Jr. Diversity Celebration on Mon., Jan. 21, from 1 to 3 p.m., in the Kepler Theater at HCC.
The celebration will begin with a musical performance by the New Joy Fellowship Seventh-day Adventist Mass Choir and conclude with a dramatic rendition of Dr. King’s “I Have a Dream” speech, performed by the Reverend Darin Mency of the Greater Campher Temple. Mency will also serve as the keynote speaker. The event will include a variety of musical performances and readings, as well as a special presentation on the culture of the Trinidad.
Students, staff, and faculty are involved in planning this event, which is free and open to the public. For more information, contact the public information office at Hagerstown Community College at 240-500-2265.
