Student Art Show opens April 27

Hagerstown Community College will host its annual spring student art exhibit from Fri., April 27 through Fri., May 4, in the newly renovated Kepler Center on HCC’s main campus.

The spring student art exhibit will feature a variety of artwork including painting, drawing, mixed media sculpture, ceramic sculpture, pottery, digital photography, and graphic design prints. To be eligible to enter the show, students must be currently enrolled in one of HCC’s art courses, and must also have a coherent body of work to present.

The opening reception will be held on Fri., April 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. This event is free and the public is invited to attend. In addition, the art exhibit will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through May 4.
