Rock Out for Autism Awareness on March 23

HCC's Student Government Association (SGA) will hold a special concert, "Rock Out for Autism Awareness," on Fri., March 23, from 8 to 11 p.m., in the Student Center. The concert will feature local bands Ascension, The Drummer Quits, and Fallen Sparrow. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted for local charities Providing Relief for Autistic Youth, Inc. and STAR Community, Inc. The concert is open to students and the public. Concessions will be sold at the event.
This event is sponsored by the SGA and HCC's Disability Support Services. For more information, contact the Student Activities Office at 240-500-2225, or email hbbarnhart@hagerstowncc.edu.
HCC will also hold an additional disability awareness event on Wed., March 28, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the Student Center. "Disability Awareness Zone" will feature speakers, information tables, and activities that bring awareness to mental, physical, and emotional disabilities. This event is free and is open to all students.
