Hagerstown Community College will host the international theater group, Cambridge American Stage Tour (CAST), on Sat., Sept. 10, in the Classroom Building Auditorium (CLR-111),, where CAST will perform William Shakespeare’s “MacBeth.”
Founded in 2000, CAST consists of 18 of the finest actors, directors, designers, and technicians from the University of Cambridge. Students themselves, the members of this theater group will travel 3,500 miles across the Atlantic to perform at 10 venues in nine states up and down the East Coast as part of their 2011 tour. HCC is one of only two stops in Maryland, the second being Frostburg State University.
Shows will be held at 3 and 8 p.m. Admission is free and the public is invited to attend. For more information, contact Student Activities Coordinator Heather Barnhart at 301-790-2800, ext. 225, or via email at hbbarnhart@hagerstowncc.edu.
