HCC offers ukulele course this fall

The Continuing Education and Community Services Division at Hagerstown Community College will offer a course on learning to play the ukulele on Wednesday evenings, from 7 to 8 p.m., beginning Sept. 14 and ending Oct. 12.

Taught by HCC instructor and local musician Candice Mowbray, this introductory course will teach students how to play basic notes, chords, and songs. Participants are asked to provide their own instruments, preferably concert-sized, as well as a pick.
