Navy Sea Chanters Show Canceled

The U.S. Navy Sea Chanters concert, originally scheduled for Sun., Aug. 14, at 4:30 p.m., has been canceled due to the possibility of severe thunderstorms on Sunday afternoon.

The Hagerstown Community College Alumni Association will host the U.S. Navy Sea Chanters as part of its annual Red, White and Blue Summer Concert Series, on Sun., Aug. 14, at 4:30 p.m., in HCC’s Alumni Amphitheater.
The U.S. Navy Sea Chanters is the official chorus of the United States Navy. Under the direction of Senior Chief Musician Georgina L. Todd., the group performs a variety of music including choral arrangements and Broadway show tunes and travels throughout the United States, often appearing at state and national events. The Sea Chanters are frequent performers at White House events and have played alongside musicians such as Marian Anderson, Perry Como, and Kenny Rogers.
Co-sponsored by the Hagerstown-Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau, this concert is free and is open to the public.
