Submitted by Leigh-Anne Mauk on Mon, 03/21/2011 - 2:32pm
Apr 11 2011 - 7:00pm - 9:00pm
In celebration of National Library Week, Hagerstown Community College and the Washington County Public Library are sponsoring a free creative writing workshop on Mon., April 11, at the Valley Mall in Hagerstown.
The workshop will feature two interactive sessions. For each session, participants can choose from one of two topics. Session one will feature “Fiction for Adults” or “Children’s Literature” and will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Session two will feature “Fiction for Young Adults” or “Finding an Agent” and will be held from 8 to 9 p.m. Participants who choose to attend the “Finding an Agent” session are asked to bring a one-page sample of their work for group critique.
Seating is limited so don’t delay. To reserve a space, email Amanda Skjeveland at ahskjeveland@hagerstowncc.edu by Mon., April 4. Participants are asked to include their full names, phone numbers, and workshop choices.
