Administrative Professionals Day held April 29

Hagerstown Community College’s Continuing Education and Community Services Division, in collaboration with the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAPP), will offer a day of appreciation and learning for local administrative professionals. This annual event will be held on Fri., April 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the Elliott Center on HCC’s main campus.

Registration begins at 8 a.m. followed immediately by a continental breakfast. A series of sessions and workshops will follow including: “The Rapture of Being Unsinkable” with Dr. Lisa Ross, president, Pioneer Passion LLC, at 8:45 a.m.; “The Seven Secrets To Living An Empowered Life,” with Jim Cannon, director, human resource development at Meritus Medical Center, at 10:15 a.m.; “Stress Relief” with Mary Anne Allan, HCC adjunct instructor, at 12:30 p.m.; and “Embracing the Reality of Change,” with Julie Gaver, professional speaker and consultant, at 1:45 p.m. Participants will also enjoy a complimentary lunch.

Cost is $79. Fee includes continental breakfast, complimentary lunch, six continuing education credits (CEUs), handouts, a certificate of attendance, and the opportunity to win several door prizes.
