New Hours for Student Center

Beginning Nov. 1, the Student Center (STC) will be open extended hours. Monday through Thursday, the STC will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Fridays it will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is a trial run that will extend through the end of the spring 2011 semester.

Offerings for evening students include Xbox. Wii, TV, music, group study space, arcade games, foosball, hot/cold drinks and food, and computer access. Staff will also be on-hand to answer student and employee questions, process student and employee IDs, and give out parking stickers.

Special events will be held in the evenings. Upcoming events include:

• Mon., Nov. 1 – Rock the Vote activities to get everone ready to vote
• Tues., Nov. 2 – Rock Band and Wii Karaoke
• Wed., Nov. 3 – Arts and Crafts
• Thurs., Nov. 4 – Coffeehouse and Open Mic
