HCC class hosts Candidate Forum on Oct. 27

Hagerstown Community College’s state and local government class will host a Candidate Forum on Wed., Oct. 27, from 7 to 9 p.m., in the Classroom Building Auditorium (CLR-111).
The forum will feature the following candidates: Ron Lohr (D) and LeRoy Myers (R) for sub-district 1C; Neil Becker (D) for sub-district 2A; Neil Parrott (R) and Brien Poffenberger (D) for sub-district 2B; John Donoghue (D) and Cort Meinelschmidt (R) for sub-district 2C; and Paul Gilligan (D) and Michael Hough (R) for sub-district 3B.
This event is free and the public is invited to attend. Attendees are encouraged to submit questions for the candidates to answer during the forum. Questions will be screened for duplication or inappropriateness prior to being asked. Attendees can submit questions at the beginning of the forum or in advance by e-mailing stward@hagerstowncc.edu. Any questions submitted by e-mail must be received by Mon., Oct. 25.
