Home and garden workshops available through HCC

Hagerstown Community College’s Continuing Education and Community Services Division is now offering a variety of home and garden workshops to help improve participants’ landscape design and gardening abilities, as well as help them explore interior design and home architecture.
Gardening workshops offered this fall include “Pruning Landscape Plants Seminar with Sandy Scott,” which is offered on Sat., Sept. 18, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, in the Career Programs Building and “Flower Gardening in October: Annuals and Perennials,” which is offered on Tues., Oct. 19, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at HCC’s Valley Mall Center.
Home workshops offered this fall include “History of Your House,” which is offered on Saturdays, from Sept. 25 through Oct. 16, and “Designing With Style,” which is offered on Tuesdays, from Oct. 5 through Oct. 26. “Designing With Style” is offered from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Career Programs Building and “History of Your House” is offered from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at HCC’s Valley Mall Center.
