U.S. Navy Cruisers perform Aug. 15

The Hagerstown Community College Alumni Association will host the U.S. Navy Cruisers as part of its annual Red, White and Blue Concert Series, on Sun., Aug. 15, at 4:30 p.m., in HCC’s Alumni Amphitheater.
The U.S. Navy Cruisers is an eight-member contemporary music ensemble under the direction of drummer Musician 1st Class Leon Alexander. The Cruisers take their name from the Navy's multi-mission ship, the Cruiser, and perform a variety of music including classic rock, rhythm and blues, oldies from the 50s and 60s, Motown favorites, as well as today's Top 40 hits.
This concert is free and open to the public. The Red, White and Blue Summer Concert Series is sponsored by the Hagerstown-Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Joint Veterans Council, and Amvets Department Service Foundation, Inc.
