Using a Patient-Center Approach in Providing Dementia Care
Submitted by Deborah M. Staley on Tue, 11/03/2009 - 5:04pm
Jun 4 2010 - 8:00am - 4:15pm
This full-day seminar will provide participants with information about how to develop a patient-centered environment for individuals with dementia. A patient-centered approach focuses on redirecting resistant behavior in a positive manner which has shown to decrease aggressive/defiant behavior and help create a positive working environment for both patients and staff.
