About the Terra Cotta Warriors
Nearly 2,000 years ago, thousands of life-size clay figures were buried in massive underground pits to accompany the passing of China's first emperor, Qin Shihuangdi, into the afterlife. For the first time, 15 of these life-size figurines have been brought to the United States. The exhibit also features weapons, armor, coins, and other tomb artifacts.
