Submitted by Leigh-Anne Mauk on Wed, 01/06/2010 - 11:56am
Hagerstown Community College will host its annual Financial Aid Night on Monday, January 25 at 6:30 p.m. in the Kepler Theater. While the event is free and open to everyone, a special emphasis will be made on helping the unemployed find ways to help pay for college.
Topics include types of financial aid available, eligibility requirements, application process, overview of government aid and other programs, and information on the upcoming FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) labs.
For more information, call HCC’s Financial Aid Office at 301-790-2800, ext. 473. In the case of inclement weather, the event will be held on February 2.
